Last winter we travelled through India  and I will tell you about my experience on the Indian railway

- India was a British colony until 1947 before becoming independent and splitting in  two different countries : Pakistan and India with two iconic figures named Nehru for Pakistan and Gandhi for India. The British developed the India railway system in the 19th century.

- India has a population of 1.366 billion and the 4th largest rail network with over 18 million passengers per day. 

It has three well-known railroads: 

• Darjeeling Himalayan Railway
• The Maharaja's Express
• The Bullit Train ( to be completed in 2023 )
